Contemporary paved garden
The main patio area was constructed using silver grey sandstone paving; honed and sawn to give a more polished finish. The customer asked for something eye catching but low maintenance and the combination of rendered planters, white pebbles and minimalist structural planting set against the dark grey paving gives the desired result. A water feature was placed in one of the planters to provide further depth and interest to the garden. A stepped area was incorporated into the main body of the planters to allow access to the upper lawned level.
